Has anyone attempted to make the crackers that Lauren made on Tuesday? I did, but they didn't get crispy. Plus, the recipe is really confusing. Any light anyone could shed would be appreciated.

I think it has to do with how thin you spread it on the pan. We made the Ranch crackers last night, and it was spread so thin, I was sure that it would burn and I would just have dump it. Instead of burning, it actually rose a little, enough to cook it to the right texture. Also, you have to put your oven on broil for the last 3 minutes - it helps with the crispiness.

Thanks Ruth! Next question - has anyone made the cinnamon toast? I made it and liked it okay, but I had to bake it for at least twice the time - it took 25 minutes, and even then it wasn't "toasty." I wonder if I should try the broil thing on that....

You know, I am finding that I have to cook things much longer than they suggest. I wonder if it has to do with our altitude. I usually have to add time to almost every recipe, except for the crackers.
