I don't know how many of y'all registered to get emails notifying you of new threads, so this may be seen by nobody! But still....
After class tonight I went to Zumba. I got home, and my roommate and her fiance are eating dinner. We chat for a bit, and within 5 minutes she says, "Oops, I was about to offer you chocolate!"
Really?
So now she's acknowledging that she knows better but is still going to mention the "temptation." Subtle.
I was assertive again - just pointed out what she did - and we had a little chat. Everything was perfectly civil. And I don't even like Hershey's Kisses and am not tempted when she's trying to bring up high-calorie foods. But it's the principle of the thing. She said she'd be supportive in the beginning, and this has been a constant struggle. We'll see how things go.
