All,
So far I've had limited success getting crispy crackers. I think I finally cracked the code. The secret was getting them super flat using the bottom of a glass. This is adapted from the Savory Recipes PDF I uploaded a while ago, but I'm posting my own recipe here, not theirs (which sounds delicious, but I couldn't make as I was lacking ingredients.
Snack Crackers (1) Meal Replacement: 160 calories Additives: Calories per serving:
1 potato MR 1 - 2 tsp onion gravy mix (+19) 2 tsp Butter Buds (+10) 2 Tbsp water (add 1 ¾ first, then more as needed to form a dry ball) Mix ingredients and form into small ½ inch balls. (I used a 1/2 tsp measure to do so, sprayed with Pam because the mix was a little sticky.)
Roll balls in 1 T Parmesan cheese (optional), then use the bottom of a drinking glass sprayed with Pam to flatten the balls into round crackers (make sure the surface on which you're flattening them is also sprayed with Pam. I also needed a flat iron spatula - again sprayed with Pam - to get them off the bottom of the glass). Drop onto a baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes.
